Our Duchess Satin is a very structured fabric that holds its shape and extensively used for a proper shape gown .They come in 140cm wide, 160 grams.

Silk Types:

Dupion Silk is a densely woven fabric which has a very royal look. This fabric is perfect for structured garments that need to hold their shape (e.g. tailored dresses, jackets and corsets). We stock the best two qualities extensively used for bridal wear:

Traditional Highly Slubbed Dupion is hand woven and has more slubs, which give it a textured finish. It comes in 150 cm wide, in different shades.

Super Smooth Dupion is a silk taffeta with a smooth finish. It is very structured and has lot of body. It comes in 140 – 150 cm wide and in different shades.

Silk Satin is woven from smooth spun yarn, resulting in a lustrous finish. Our light weight Satins is suitable for flowing and brides maid gowns. They come in 140 cm wide, 18-19 mumee and in different shades.

Our Heavy Weight Crepe- Backed Satin and Double Sided Satin is used for more draped gowns and has more dense effect. They come in 140cm wide, 37 mumee.

Silk Chiffon is a 6 mumee smooth, sheer silk with a lustrous finish. It is renowned for the way it floats .They come in 135 cm wide, 8 mumee.

Silk Organza is a stiff sheer silk with a smooth finish. They come in 132 cm wide, 5.5 to 6 mumee.
